For most orders, I use regular airmail, which can take a couple of weeks depending on the destination. You can upgrade to expedited shipping at checkout.

Delivery

Processing time

All of my work is carved by hand and finished using traditional goldsmithing techniques. In general, this is how long you can expect the process to take:

The actual processing time varies depending on my order volume. I will always do my best to surprise you with the earliest possible delivery :)

Orders that contain items with different processing times will ship once all of the items are ready.

 

Estimated delivery date

To estimate your delivery date: start with your order date, then add the processing time to the shipping time for your destination:

 

Delivery within Canada

Shipping time:

  • Regular shipping: 3-9 days
  • Expedited shipping: 1-2 days

To estimate your delivery date:

  1. Start with your order date.
  2. Add the order processing time. 
  3. Add the shipping time. 

For example, if you purchase made-to-order gold jewellery on January 1st:

  • Order date: Jan 1
  • Processing time: 4-6 weeks
  • Shipping time: Up to 1 week
  • Estimated delivery = early to mid February (5-7 weeks from Jan 1)

 

Delivery to the United States

Shipping time:

  • Regular shipping: 7-14 days
  • Expedited shipping: 2-3 days

To estimate your delivery date:

  1. Start with your order date.
  2. Add the order processing time. 
  3. Add the shipping time. 

For example, if you purchase made-to-order jewellery on January 1st:

  • Order date: Jan 1
  • Processing time: 4-6 weeks
  • Shipping time: 1-2 weeks
  • Estimated delivery = mid to late February (6-8 weeks from Jan 1)

Shipments to the US may experience customs delays. If you need your order to arrive by a specific date, please see my policy below on Holiday and gift delivery.

Orders over $2500 USD require the purchaser to submit extra forms to the US customs office. If extra customs forms are necessary for your order, I will contact you by email with more information.

Shipping time:

  • Regular shipping: 14-28 days
  • Expedited shipping: 4-7 days

To estimate your delivery date:

  1. Start with your order date.
  2. Add the order processing time. 
  3. Add the shipping time. 

For example, if you purchase made-to-order jewellery on January 1st:

  • Order date: Jan 1
  • Processing time: 4-6 weeks
  • Shipping time: 2-3 weeks
  • Estimated delivery = late February to early March (6-9 weeks from Jan 1)

If you need your order to arrive by a specific date, please add a note at checkout. I'll contact you by email to confirm whether the delivery date is possible. 

 

Customs, duties, and import taxes

For international orders (outside of Canada), you will likely have to pay additional fees to receive your package. Please note these fees are not paid to me, but to the institutions that process your package.

Here's how the fees work:

  • Duties and import taxes are paid to your government. The amount is decided by the customs office of your country at the time that the package crosses the border.
  • Customs clearance fees are paid to the shipping company, such as FedEx or DHL. The fees are used to help your parcel go through customs as quickly as possible.
