Typically I ship with Canada Post or FedEx economy, which can take a couple of weeks depending on the destination. You can purchase shipping upgrades at checkout.

Processing time

The processing time can be found on each product page. In general, this is how long it takes to make each type of jewellery:

The processing time varies depending on the number of orders I have at a time, but I will always do my best to surprise you with the earliest possible delivery :)

Orders that contain items with different processing times will ship once all of the items are ready.

 

Estimated delivery date

To estimate your delivery date, add the processing time to the shipping time for your destination:

  • Processing time = 4-6 weeks
  • Shipping time = 1 week for regular (non-expedited) mail
  • Estimated delivery = 5 to 7 weeks after your order date.

For example, if you purchase a made-to-order gold ring within the US:

  • Processing time = 4-6 weeks
  • Shipping time = 1-2 weeks for regular (non-expedited) mail
  • Customs processing = 1 week
  • Estimated delivery = 6 to 9 weeks after your order date.

Orders over $2500 USD require the purchaser to submit extra forms to the US customs office. If extra customs forms are necessary for your order, I will contact you by email with more information.

  • Processing time = 4-6 weeks
  • Shipping time = 2-3 weeks for regular (non-expedited) mail
  • Customs processing = 1 week
  • Estimated delivery = 7 to 10 weeks after your order date.

If you need your order to arrive by a specific date, please add a note at checkout. I'll contact you by email to confirm whether the delivery date is possible. 

 

Customs, duties, and import taxes

For international orders (outside of Canada), you will likely have to pay additional fees to receive your package. Please note these fees are not paid to me, but to the institutions that process your package.

Here's how the fees work:

  • Duties and import taxes are paid to your government. The amount is decided by the customs office of your country at the time that the package crosses the border.
  • Customs clearance fees are paid to the shipping company. I use companies such as FedEx or DHL to carry orders over $1000 CAD. The fees are used to help your parcel go through customs as smoothly as possible.

For bespoke orders, I can do my best to estimate the fees for you. Please note this is not always possible, since estimation involves calling the customs office in your country, and I may not speak the local language :)
