On a delicate winter branch, a curious bird inspects a bright persimmon fruit. The fruit is set with natural, unheated sapphire, and rendered with detail on both sides of the jewel.

This listing is for a single, custom-designed Persimmon Tree. It currently stands alone as an art object; the design may be personalised further to your styling preference (brooch, pendant, etc).
The photos feature the sample design from my portfolio, as well as some available natural sapphire options from my collection.
Material upgrades such as higher karat gold or accent stones are all available upon request :)

Art jewellery is made with very different priorities from commercial work! Please allow plenty of time for ethical material sourcing (if you need a specific stone), and slow, traditional hand-production.
For this piece, I will take care of the design and handcarving, which takes up about half of production time. For the finishing, either myself or another woman artist-goldsmith will complete the stone-setting and polishing. This structure allows us to work with the necessary attention to bring out the incomparable detail and quality of your art jewellery 🤍

Note that the pink-red sapphire is unique to my portfolio piece; if you would like a similar stone, it will require a few additional weeks of sourcing. Once you place your order, I will message you with available options!
