Material Information

🦪 Pearls are natural with a slight potato shape. They are of a lower grade suitable for beadwork, so the surface nacre has slight imperfections in places rather than being absolutely smooth.

🌸 Flowers are hand-beaded with Miyuki and Toho glass beads that are 1.5 mm in size, resulting in a floral that is much smaller and more delicate than usual! The beaded flower measures approx 4 mm in diameter.

💛 14K gold-fill is a thin layer of 14 karat gold fused to a base metal, typically jeweller's brass. This material holds up a lot better than gold plating, as plated metals can flake off the base; but unlike solid gold, gold-fill can still develop tarnish in due time (think, 1-5 years, depending on how you store and care for your jewellery). Don't worry though, tarnish is super easy to clean with regular polishing cloths! You can read more in the Jewellery Care section below.

Jewellery Care

Beaded jewellery is delicate and better for special occasions rather than daily wear. Please protect it from water as much as possible!

Pearls should be kept away from perfumes, lotions, and other products to protect them from discolouration.

If you experience tarnish on the gold-filled findings (earring posts or backings), I recommend cleaning them with a gentle polishing cloth such as this one. For more care and polishing tips, see my FAQ!
